You need to remember that the less you expose your body, the less chance that you will likely get hit. The fox holes strategy only works when other players don’t know where it is.

If you know where the fox hole where your opponent is hiding in, you can try sneaking around the fox hole in order to get a clear shot down to the hole that your opponent is hiding in. If you don’t know where the fox hole your enemy is hiding in, then they will have a great advantage over you. They only have to pop out their head and their paintball gun, shoot his or her opponent and hide again.

The paint grenade is also an advantageous tool that you should have in your paintball arsenal. This is great for hitting 3 to 4 people at a time but you need to remember that you may want to practice getting near enough on your opponent without being detected in order for you to throw the grenade at them. Also, try practicing your aim in throwing the grenade. A well placed grenade is very effective in eliminating more than 2 opponents at a time and it is also very effective for defensive strategy.

Cleaning the paintball gun is very important. You have to keep your paintball gun clean especially on the inside of the barrel. This will prevent misfires and you will have a more accurate aim.
