Assault Utility Side

My landlord is selling the house we are living in...we withheld rent because we felt we had no choice and we werent getting basic needs met here. There is no heat upstairs or on the right side of house. He came in forcefully the other day and threatened my husband and separated his shoulder as we went to the ER. We have portable heaters but it is not like having heat.We also have no dishwasher , washer dryer, are paying full electric when it was 1 1/3 and full heat instead of what is stipulated in the lease.We are paying the utilities for the tenant downstairs. Half the electric in kitchen and bathroom is broken.The outside pipe burst and ruined things in the basement area. We only wanted him to fix the boiler as it is 60 years old and a fire hazard. We have been inconvenienced with no heat ,threats with my kids watching , physical assault, and having to uproot the family.We are leaving but havent found a new house yet... What is our rights?
