What are some good autococker paintball marker brands to use with pump?
Ok, so recently i decided to finaly buy myself a paintball marker. Problem is, i want it to be like a normal gun, but when i feel like it, i want to be able to add or remove a pump from/to it. Do you guys know any good brands? and please keep it cheap, i dont wana pay over $120 for the marker (without the pump kit). I heard of SuperBolt before, but after reading reviews, i dont rlly like the idea of a pump on it. What do you guys think? could you please give me the brand and make of your suggested gun and the type of pump kit that i will need to attach to it? also, any other information you can give me would be great, im not that educated in the workings of a paintball gun. thanks!
I saw your question just hours after you posted it, but I was hoping someone else might help you out. since no one else seems willing, I'll try.
Since you're wanting to go from pump to semi-auto depending on your mood you'll naturally want to go with an AutoCocker, but you already stated that. About a year ago I was hearing that the WGP Trilogy AutoCocker were great little markers for just this situation. They are made to where you really can't tinker with them like the older AutoCockers, which if you didn't know what you're doing you could have one hell of a mess. Now from what I've heard, only the select fire models had a removable feedneck, so if you were wanting to use anything that was a different size than a standard gravity feedneck you'd have to modify something. As for the pump kit, you'd have to get a Trilogy specific pump kit. I think there are three or four different ones for the trilogy, but I can't remember for sure. One problem you'll find though, the Trilogies are out of production and since they were pretty popular little markers, you'll be hard pressed finding one that's not used/refurbished.
i'm sorry, but I'm really just not a good person to help you on this matter, I looked into going pump over a year ago and that's where this tiny bit of info I gave came from.
For better help on your quest, go to TechPB and join their forums. You should find plenty of knowledgeable guys and gals there that are more than willing to help you out. You could also look for help over at the forums on SpecialOpsPaintball and PBNation.
