1851 navy conversion?
Howdy everyone.
Anyways, I got an 1851 colt navy replica (pietta) some years back. Getting bored with powder and round ball, I had this *awesome* idea. What if I converted my open top 1851 to .357 magnum? Any thoughts? This thing seems strong *enough*... even without the top strap. Can I put an electric motor on the cylinder to make it into a miniature mini-gun too? Can I mount an underslung grenade launcher and TIG weld a bayonet lug to the barrel?
Ooo, and it's my dad's... shush. Don't let him find out.
