looking for an adapter to put a sling swivel on my sks for a bipod?
i dont know if im using the correct word for this what im talking about is the factory mounted nipple on my hunting rifle i have a bipod i would like to put on my sks but the sks just has a side mounted oval ring for your sling to slide through the only bipods ive seen hook through the bayonet ring or on a tactical rail which i dont have id like to find some type of adapter so that i dont have to buy a new bipod
see i thought about that but my synthetic stock has the cutout for the bayonet to rest in and im sure it will be too thin to hold up if i do that
if your good with a drill you can install one on your current stock very easily and buy the sling swivel studs at wal-mart for $10. I did this with my mini 14 and it works perfectly.
