OK, so i have a plastic 9mm pistol airsoft that i want to paint black to make like video for youtube, but I've been hearing that a lot of plastic airsoft guns dont do well with spary paint( like the paint peels off), is that true or is it ok to spary piant it
Also if there is a certain paint I can use to spray paint my gun, please tell me.
Ok, go to and vehicle specialty shop (like Kragen auto parts) and buy spray paint for METAL USE ONLY. metal-use spray paint covers plastic much better than wood-use. OR if you can find the actual PLASTIC-USE spray paint, obviously it woud work the best. buy a can of BLACK, (not shiny black, but dull black) and a can of clear coat. spray the gun with one full coat of black. let it completely dry, then play around with it, cock it, load it, shoot it, switch safety on and off, to make sure it wont stick too badly for the next coat. repeat 4 or 5 times, the 2 or 3 times with clear coat. (this might take a day or 2) but when it's done, i guarantee it will look great.
