Gaming Computer Hardware?
I tring to build a good gaming computer. If you could let me know if these components will work together or if i need something different/better. I have never done this before and i know i have made a mistake somewhere.

Well starting off you need to get an Nvidia graphics card ATI is just shoddy and horrible at the moment. Also Amd quad cores are not fully operational yet they still have many bugs and issues so if your going to get a quad core get an intel. and for this new graphics card and cpu you need a new mother board i suggest an EVGA Force 750i SLI FTW its about the same price as the msi mainboard and it supports intel dual and quad cores and nvidia graphics cards. i'm assuming that graphics card is about 200$ from my Research and i suggest an Evga
GeForce GTX 260 its about 250$ and its a very good nvidia card. for the processor i suggest an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 which is about 170$ but you can upgrade/downgrade as you please of course. The ram is fine, but your going to need a power supply unit to power all of these electronics i suggest an
RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS. you've chosen a ide cd burner and you should get a sata one because that's what your hdd is i suggest a SAMSUNG Black 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 16X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 20X DVD Burner with Light Scribe - OEM its really good and its about the same price as the cd/dvd burner you suggested. also because we made a switch from amd to intel your going to need a different cpu cooler a ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm will do fine.
guess I kinda rebuilt your pc but the components i gave you are really good and all compadable with each other.
