I was just wondering if the smart parts vibes body came in any other colors than black- i already have the gun, i was just wondering if i could upgrade it to a new color, and if so, what store or website have it?
and - i heard that you could paint it, and if thats true, what paint should i use, and how should i apply it (if theres any special way)
There are now Vibes available with an eye-ready breech available in black, blue, silver & red and include eyes & a Blackheart board. However, the breech goes inside the Vibe's body, so the only visible portions of the colored breech are through the triangle-shaped window on the body and the exposed backcap. Those Vibes cost $225.
The colored breech & Blackheart combos are available separately for $100.
If you want the body itself to be colored, just get some Krylon spray. Disassemble the Vibe, removing everything from the shell (take off the frame & board, slide out the breech). Plug/cover/tape the interior of the shell so no paint gets on the inside. Take it someplace you can spraypaint (away from dust & dirt, in a well-ventilated area & where nothing else can get painted on) then spray away. Let dry for twice as long as directed on the Krylon bottle/can.
