I passed the CA Hunter Safety Course summer, purchased my 2008-2009 CA hunting license in the early Fall, purchased my first Big Game rifle last month, my scope arrived today, and now I'm on the road to being even more prepared for my first CA pig hunt by purchasing some field dressing tools.
I currently don't have a decent blade for field dressing. I'm not planning on buying a separate tool for skinning and a separate tool for gutting, etc, so don't advise me on doing so. I'm thinking of getting the drop point blade with the tan handle version. Whatcha think?
With the drop point blade this should serve your purpose well. I use a similar blade to gut and skin whitetails and feral pigs.
