Decoy Looks Real

Decoy Looks Real
Is a non-moving decoy worth it?

I went to the local outdor store, and was looking for a decoy for coyote hunting. I found a still squirrel (plastic body, no moving tail or anything). I was just wondering if coyotes will even bother to pay attention to it, or will they just blow it off like they didnt even notice it?? Id get a shaking one, but its like $50, and i dont have that much money. I planned on attaching a real squirrel tail to it to blow in the wind and give it some motion if i get it, but is that worth it?

I have actually had good luck just using an artificial rabbit. Not unlike the ones they sell during Easter holiday season. I take a couple if tie wraps and connect it to the bottom of a plastic container turned upside down. Then get back and out of sight-do some calling. If no success-move about ¼ mile and set up again

Cost less than $10.
