I am getting a red dot reflex sight for my AR-15. I was just wondering if the front sight will be in the way.?
It has a flat top receiver. I was also wondering how to sight it in once it is mounted.
It's not going to block your view but you will see it through your reflex sight. The ideal set up is to have it co-witness. Or you could install a folding front sight/gas block. Then install a rear folding sight so that in the event your batteries die, you have a set of back up sights.
