Which Paintball Marker is better than the other Money Wise, Durability, and Quality?
Spyder Electra, Smart Parts Ion or Vibe, and Azodin Blitz or Zenith?
Which Paintball Marker would be better off used by as a Starter gun thats inbetween 100-150 and also willing to spend an extra 50 on either the Zenith or Vibe. But im looking more into the Quality, Performance, and most reliable gun.
If its alright to give differences on the Blitz vs Ion
Also differences on the Electra vs Vibe vs Zenith
The Electra & Zenith are quite similar - both are sear-tripping, tube-stacked blowbacks with electronic trigger frames. The Zenith has an added feature of an adjustable valve, where you can modify the valve timing. Good if you feel comfortable fine-tuning & tweaking your gun's performance, pointless if you never want to mess with it.
The Blitz is like a Zenith with no adj. valve or on/off asa.
All Azodin guns also has autococker barrel threads, which is more universal than spyder threads (many guns use autococker threads, particularly most high ends - spyder threads are only found on spyders and oddball spyder knockoffs).
Ion & Vibe are identical in operation but the Vibe is designed for co2 use, having features like a tilted asa adaptor (to keep the co2 tank's liquid co2 near the bottom), a venting foregrip (for the pressure spikes commonly associated with shooting too fast using co2), lower rate of fire cap (so you can't "outshoot" the co2) and a soft-tip bolt to make up for not having eyes.
The Ion & Vibe are a bit better than the others simply because they're both true electro-pneumatics. The advantage of true electros is a tiny valve system (solenoid) controls the air used within the marker, instead of just relying on a hammer/valve system. This allows the guns to run at lower operating pressures, combined with both guns also have less moving internals, resulting in less kick.
The disadvantage of the Ion is it doesn't have a clamping feedneck or on/off asa. Maintenance is also a bit more time-consuming unless you get an Ion XE (has a bolt-out-back, or BOB body). It also requires hpa; you can't use co2 on an Ion, really, or the necessary upgrades needed to safely run co2 in it aren't worth it (namely, you'd need a co2-safe regulator; the best one i can think of costs more than some hpa tanks).
Quality, performance & reliability is the same in all these guns, really. Most problems are user error, so read the manual and keep up on regular maintenance and all these guns will never give you problems.
