What is a good scout mount for a German Mauser Kar98K?
I was looking at an AIM Sports mount. http://www.milsurpstuff.com/proddetail.asp?prod=MT015
Does that look decent? I will be using a 2-7X32 long eye relief scope along with it.
Scout mounts don't harm value on rare valuable mausers as the sight can be replaced with the original one.
I would recommend a Darrell's scout mounts if he makes them for mauser ( I know he makes them for mosins). Just google Darrell's scout mounts.
I have also heard good things about the s&k mounts.
