Filleting knife for a beginner?
I am new to filleting fish. While i am learning to sharpen it and use it properly do you think that is it better that i:
Buy a decent one straight up
or
Buy a cheapish one so it doesn't matter so much if i wreck it when i am (learning to) sharpen it.
Also what is the difference between the cheap ones and the expensive ones?

You can have both. That is, if you purchase a Rapala, you won't spend much money, and you'll get one of the best fillet knives ever made.
