Please Help Me! My laptom backlight went out!?
I had just installed a dual boot of Fedora 8 on my hard drive, and when I restarted my system, i could not see the screen without a flashlight. Is there anything I can do to light up the screen again (the brightness settings are set to maximum)
As luck should have it, it has nothing to do with Fedora 8. Your laptop's LCD power inverter has DIED. You can find the replacement part from your computer manufacturer and you will most likely have to send it in for repair.
If you take it to a repair shop, they might NOT put it OEM authentic parts and WILL charge you lots of $$$.
