Should i trade my upd Tippmann A5 for a 09 Proto SLG?
I got my Tippy on may of this year so its not too old and its very well taken care of. It has several upgrades. It has response trigger, X7 hopper and stock A5 hopper too, Expansion Chamber, Squishy Paddles, polished internals, and the pen spring mod. I also bought it a 14" JJ Ceramic barrel and the flatline barrel with the RIS shroud. I have had no problems with this gun and it has never failed me i always clean it after i play and ive only played around 5 or 6 times so its in exellent condition. I spent like $400 buying the gun, upgrades and barrels on it. i want to sell all of that for around 250 to 350 depending on the way im selling it. OR i want to trade all that for a good looking 09 Proto slg or another electronic paintball marker.
Options are
A.) Keep the gun (play woodsball almost everytime)
B.) Trade gun for another Electronic Marker with some good upgrades.
C.)Sell the gun and all its upgrades on ebay, then buy a new gun.
D.)your own opinion
If you like the gun, keep it. I personally love tippmann's, but I do feel this is the worst option. Do not trade the gun for electronic marker. A5 is solid, and your best option is to sell the gun and components each on ebay. you will make a real bank on it with the great upgrades you have chosen. I absolutely recomment the 09 SLG. I have mine and my brother has one. Absolutely do not buy the ultralite though. the basic does everything the ultralite does, and switching from an A5, the weight will astonish you either way. The money saved on that upgrade will pay for some great upgrades, though none are needed. If not owned, an hpa tank. SLG accepts hpa only. Then a 14'' or 16'' cp one piece barrel. The stock one is amazing, but having a second is useful for length, especialy in woodsball. then buy a cp rake trigger, and maybe some extra macroline. you will be set for life on that, and have a much better/successful experience! GET THE SLG! absolutely the best gun for $199 out there and is amazing stock, which is rare.
