A Mossy 500 and a Mossy 590 are the same. Yours is a store branded Mossy 500. All parts for Mossy 500's will fit yours. The only caveat to that is that your action slide tube, the steel tube the forearm is mounted on, might be the old long tube. You'll need to jerk the wood off yours and measure it from the edge of the front threads, all the way at the end, all the way to the back edge of that solid steel ring your bars rivet to. If it's a 7 1/2" (actually 7 5/8") tube, you're good to go with most 90% of Mossy 500 aftermarket forearms. If it's one of the old 8 7/8" slide tubes, nothing on the market fits it....you'll need to go to gunbroker.com and buy yourself a new tube to use aftermarket forearms. A new tube will run you approx $25 and is a drop in fit.
