What is the accuracy of the stock m16 sights?
The m16 has a two position flip down rear aperture sight with "close" and "far" openings. What is the size of these apertures? How wide is the front sight post? How far up is it? And to what moa are the m16s sights considered accurate at 300m targets?
The sights aren't the only factor in accuracy. As for MOA, it would depend a great deal on the barrel quality (throat and bore erosion, etc.) and even more on the individual behind the trigger. At that distance, it would depend too much on the particular rifleman's competency with his iron sights.
