I'm in the market for a green gas, blowback, Glock style handgun. From what I understand, with an ABS or strenghtened plastic slide the life of the pistol, slide cycle rate, and overall workings will be increased. Now, I dont want to hear your opinion on the subject of metal or plastic slides...just some word on what you think the best plastic slide handgun is. My max price will be $160 at the very most.
If you have t have a plastic slide, I guess you could go with a TM. You won't be able to run green gas in them unless you want to replace the slide, though. Has to be said.

Aluminum slides, I think most cheaper ones use. As long as you don't buy zinc alloy/pot metal, you should be good to go in terms of metallic slides.
You can always grind or sand down some of the weight from the inside, or do some aesthetic, weight reducing work on the slide. As long as it moves as it should and doesn't allow debris to enter, you'll have a lighter, unique GBB.
