many questions about paintball?
ok... first off just want to let you know i am not knew to paint ball, i have been playing for some time now. i just need advice from other paint ball players. i dont care if you answer one question, or all of them, just dont wast my time.
what do you say that would be a real good paint ball gun brand, like the one that pros use, or just made well.
my friend says that he rely wants a smart parts, i keep saying their are terrible, but what do you think.
i have a tippmann A-5 and i wanted to get a apex barrel, but i also herd the flat line is good, what should i get.
i want to get a flow line, C02 from the belt to the marker, my friend had one he said it was very unrelible, what do you think.
last does any one know a package for a Tippmann A-5 that includes any of the following WITHOUT THE MARKER, apex barrel, flow line, e grip, and a 4+1 pod and co2 holder WITHOUT THE CO2... it does not have to have all of them in one, but like two or more together.
- Pros use whatever their sponsors give them. But to answer the question, Eclipse, Dye/Proto, Smart Parts, BLAST (Bob Long), Dangerous Power, FEP (well, they made only one, the Quest), Alien (Interceptors, the Independence), Invert... sure i missed some.
- Smart Parts makes great products. People only bash them because they've sued a lot of companies over copyright or patent infringement. But in SP's defense, they're simply playing a smart business game. The companies they've affected (ICD, AGD, AKA, maybe a couple others) were not business-savvy and they paid the price. This is how the corporate world works, get used to it.
- Flatline barrel is all bells & whistles. It advertises increased distance but it only adds maybe 10 ft max. Besides, the added distance only decreases the velocity, meaning the paintballs have a greater chance of not even breaking on target so the added distance is just a waste.
- Flow line? Usually called a remote line. It works fine if the tank is NOT anti-siphoned (since the tube of the remote line acts like an anti-siphon anyway). But the remote line gets in the way. It can snag on things and can hinder a player when switching hands (a skill highly regarded in paintball).
- Don't know about the packages, although the previously-mentioned ebay searches are a good idea.
