i have a gun Metal gray 09 toyota corolla LE and the windows are tinted dark. Im getting new rims and tires and i am contemplating on either gun Metal gray rims or black rims- and if i go with black either matte or shiny? i don't want my car to look like a these gay racer cars with fart cans on them i want a nice classy looking car- can anyone put there opinion! thanks

So i finally decided and ordered them today- i went with black matte finish with 18 in rims! hope it looks good! thanks for the advice!
You need 15 inch rims.
The car was built with the standard wheels of 195/65R15. The designers of the car will have taken into account all sorts of factors such as grip, how stiff or soft the ride feels, even rolling resistance which affects gas mileage.
It is ludicrous to change the overall diameters of the wheels and tyres, however if you really want 17 inch rims on the car (which in my opinion will look bloody stupid considering it's a Corolla), then 195/50/17 would be the natural fit, although finding a tyre to that spec will be nigh on impossible.
