HUNTERS!....What kind of gear do you pack with you when you head into the brush for a day of hunting...lets sa?
I usually travel pretty light,just a heavy jacket broad brimmed hat, some rope , knife , gun and an almost empty pack , just tin cup, small chunk of pitch wood,flint, steel and char, small candle.no food....I hunt better if I'm hungry..besides theres berrys up the butt out there that time of year.
that last part was supposed to read, "Lets say deer and elk..."
I never heard a such a thing as haulin' a bucket a charcol with ya while you is out huntin'...huh? I reckon I could have used somethin like that when hunting in eastern washington at 6000 ft just above tree line...gets damn cold in them parts !

Depends on who I am hunting with. If I go by myself heavy long sleeve shirt, ammo, GPS, knife and rifle. If I go with one buddy of mine that only hunts in places that you travel by horse and takes a day to get to the list would go something like this 30 pack of Budweiser, a bottle of whiskey (per person), a bed roll heavy long sleeve shirt, ammo rifle and some t-bone steaks to eat. Can honestly say we only got so drunk that we lost our horses once, but we can find some big old bucks on trips like that.
