How do I install a scope mount on the rear sight on a Mosin Nagant 1891/30?
I have this no gunsmithing required scope mount that is supposed to go on the rear sight of my 1891/30 Mosin Nagant. There are a couple removable pins, but the mount only has a single larger pair of screws that tighten down somehow on the mount. The most detailed instructions I could find are: Punch out rear sight leaf cross pin/leaf/spring, place mount between rear sight leaf ears, and an elevation adjustment.
Only 1 pin can be used in the mount, as there is only one hole for them to go in the mount. The one hole with screws acts as a pivot.
I am guessing that it is a b-square mount
