I am travelling to a skirmish in a few weeks time, but as I don't have a car was going to be using public transport.All my kit, (vest, boots, DPM etc) goes in a duffle bag but I'm wondering what i need to put my AEG in to avoid being arrested. I was going to use my regular slipcase, which is lockable, but that does still look like a rifle case. Am I better off using a hard case or what?

Anything which keeps your gun out of sight is a good idea - a lockable bag is an even better one.
A rifle slip would be fine, though it does tend to advertise what its contents are.
I prefer a bag like this, it looks less like you're carrying guns that way, and it's got pots of storage!
There are no legal regulations for the carriage of airsoft guns (beyond that they be out of sight), but it's always good practice to carry them in a locked bag, with no batteries/gas in them and with unloaded mags.
