How high do I mount my rifle scope?
I am getting a 300 Winchester Magnum and have bought a Night Force NXS 8-32X56. It will be used at the1k range and also for long range hunting. Figure out the lowest set of rings that allows you to mount the scope closest to the barrel without touching it. I routinely try rings and exchange/send them back to get this 'fit' for my scopes, so don't be afraid of ordering of exchanging them if you don't like them.
