Is this a good deal on a handgun?
I found a used Smith and Wesson MP series .40 that comes along with a case, 2 extra magazines, 2 extra grips and a holster. All for $499.00. This same shop has a used Taurus 145 chrome for about the same money. Finally, this shop has a used Taurus 24/7 (Poly) for about $350.00 . Which is the better buy?
When you add on taxes, you're gonna go well over $550.
For that kind of money, there are plenty of used, and even a few new Glocks out there, which is a MUCH better deal.
For the $500, I have even seen a few used H-K USP's on GunBroker & GunsAmerica, which is a GREAT deal!
I paid $550 for my USP, with 3 spare mags, but that was 5 or 6 years ago. On the other hand, even after nearly 5000 rounds fired, it's still almost like NEW.
