Depends on what you're hunting. Even though animals seem to be color blind they can distinguish things that don't seem to fit. And they notice movement that isn't natural. If you're hunting ducks or geese, you need to blend with your background. Remember, a white face presented upward is unusual and frightening to a duck or goose so don't forget face paint or a cover to hide the shine of your face. If you're hunting big game, mostly camo won't help. I say this because most of your shots will be from hiding, or from a long range. Certainly if you're hunting upland game with a shotgun, camo is worthless.
