So I am a freshman in college and am interested in the idea of starting my own small business one day. Now, I really have no idea where to start but I do know that if i were to go through with starting a business, it would be an outdoor store. Hunting/Camping type deal. I am an undeclared major and being my own boss sounds awesome!!! I would really appreciate some feedback especially if you have any kindof experience in the business world.

The advice I can give to you is to take many, many business and marketing classes.
Its great that you already know the type of business you'd like to have. This will be a plus for you.
Most college classes for starting a business (introduction to business) will assign a business plan. Usually, you get to completely make up the business (and not use an existing one).
Hopefully your teacher would give you some type of feedback on the business plan you created.
Also, check with SCORE. It is a place where aspiring entrepreneurs (you), can talk with retired business owners. That can be a great resource.
For now, do your research. Buy many business books and read, read, read.
After taking the business classes, you will find that it either bores you, or excites you! If you find yourself wanting to go to class, and wanting to read parts of the text book even though the professor has not assigned it, then maybe owning a business (or getting a degree in business) will be right for you.
