Here is the deal. Where I live right now, things are getting worse and worse. People get jumped, and I myself got jumped last night. Not so good feeling . Anyways to the question. I live in California Sacramento, and Im 17 years old. What i wanna do is start carrying a bb gun Walther PPK in the inside the pants holster. For self defense use only. I wanna know if I get caught with it inside the holster using it as self defense, what could possibly be the charges? I'm really tired of getting jumped, and my friend even reported to police once, but sadly they haven't done anything. So ya i really want to know what would be the charges for that, and another personal question. Would you carry a bb gun in the same situation as me? Thank you guys very much.
I don't think putting 15 medal bbs in someones face will only get them mad...
First problem ... what happens if I pull my bb gun ... and my attacker pulls the "real thing!?" I'd guess that my appointment to meet my maker would be moved up. One funeral coming up!
Second problem ... I pull a bb gun that resembles a firearm. An officer sees me pull the gun. They draw their service weapon. I get dead or arrested. Not a good way to end the day!
Third problem ... I pull my bb gun and shoot my attacker. Now the attacker is mad! He takes my bb gun away from me and pistol whips me with it. Off to the Emergency room I go!
Think very carefully about carrying "fake heat" before you do it ... if you still think it's a good idea, think about it for longer!
