***Calling All Paintball Junkies!***
Hey wats up. I need help buying a new paintball marker. I was doing some research and I was intrested in the ( ion smartparts) it shoots 17bps but then i saw the (Tippmann 98 Sniper) and i like that gun because 1. Its a sniper 2. You can upgrade it alot[Scope,Hopper, Barrel, Bipod, Trigger,Etc.] But then i saw the(proto slg light) and its really light and has a decent fire rate. So please give me youre opinion and feel free to give me some more adviced on what other guns i can buy.

SmartParts = Garbage, definitely never buy a smartparts gun. If you were to buy the ion, you would end up putting about $200 more into it just to make it as good as an electronic spyder.
Tippmann = good guns. I like Tippmanns, but for speedball, they are just about useless. They have very slow rates of fire, and are very heavy and awkward to use on a speedball field. But if you are primarily going to be using it for woodsball, then go ahead. Tippmanns are great woodsball guns.
P.S. The term "sniper" means nothing in paintball, because when you have the right barrel, any gun can be a "sniper" gun.
Proto SLG = best choice out of the three. The SLG is an excelent speedball gun as well as a woodsball gun. It has a great board with many different modes, and for the price, there is no beating it.
