Best Mid Range Scope for AR 15?
Hey I have a 20" AR-15. Right now I just have a BUIS, and I'm thinking about a good optic. I don't have a huge budget, so something around $100-200 I think. I know there are alot of questions about this, but mine is just a little different. About all i'm shooting is ground squirrels at about 25-75 yards. The body mass is about 2"x1.5", so its a tiny target for iron sights. What i'm looking for is something that is about 4x32 (think ACOG) that has a good redicle, and is well built. I'd rather not just put a regular rifle scope on it, because it is after all, an AR-15. Reddots don't seem like they would be accurate enough for my purposes, but maybe someone who has used one could comment?
Also, I already have a normal rifle scope laying around. What I'm interested in is a more "tactical" scope.
I have one of these on my AR and it works great. It will most certainly allow you to dial in on a squirell at 75 yards.
