I'm curious about LEO's choice of BUG's (Back up gun's) and what kind of arrangement they carry them in. IE Ankle holster, IWB holster ect...
I understand that everyone is probably different, but I figure there are some commons.
Being an old timer, I carried a S&W J-frame .38. I tried different carries but finally came up with a workable solution.
I had a seamtress sew a pouch onto some of my undershirts. I then carried the gun in the pouch under my uniform shirt. I replaced the middle three buttons of the uniform shirts with a velcro tab. If I needed the gun, I could simply push my hand into the shirt and grab the gun.
Nowdays, you can buy the "belly band" holster and carry slimmer autos. But 30 odd years ago that worked for me.
My concealed carry today is a Taurus Millenium 145 in a DeSantis IWB holster.
