Few question on a Paintball gun.?????
so im looking at the Kingman Spyder Sonix. 1. is there a difference between the regular sonix and the sonix pro? If so what are they? 2. Is this a good beginner gun cause i am a beginner? 3. How much does it cost from a store on average? 4. what are the good and bad things about this gun. 5. will it rfeeze up in cold weather? Thanks in advance.
Well, a great source of information can be found here:

and for the PRO version here:

2. Both seem to be great beginner guns, and there doesn't seem to be much difference between the two, other then a slightly different look, they're mechanically the same.
3. About 110$ for these guns, but you also need pellets, a face mask, CO2 canisters, a "hopper" (which is the magazine (NOT included)) and a coverall. All in all, you might be looking at 180$ or so.
4. They're both pretty reliable, though a short barrel makes aiming a bit hard. It's a great gun for beginners, because it's very low maintenance. They're semi-automatic, so you won't waste your whole supply of ammo, but you can still pretty quickly. They also have an anti-double feed, which makes sure there's only 1 pellet in the chamber, so you won't smash them up.
They also rarely "chop" a bullet, (smash it in the barrel, so that you have paint all over the inside) which is a rather common problem with guns as cheap as these. Very good choice for a beginning paintballer. You can also take them apart completely with a single (included) allen wrench, so that's another plus.
One downside is the relatively short barrel, which makes them a little inaccurate at longer ranges, and limits the range a bit. A short barrel is also louder, but that's not really important when you're just starting out. It doesn't have a full-auto setting, but only the most expensive guns do.
5. Define cold weather? You would probably freeze a lot sooner then the guns, so I wouldn't worry about that. Unless you happen to live in Siberia, your gun won't freeze up. Dust is a bigger problem, but with a simple gun like this you'll never have an issue with it.
