I currently have the Smart Parts Ion and I think it might be time to upgrade. I love my Ion but it just is not that air efficient. I have been looking at guns like the Planet Eclipse Etek2 and the Ego8. Both guns get incredible efficiency but I am not quite sure which gun to purchase. The Etek2 would cost me about 725 (thats including the star frame, zick kit, and and cure bolt 2) the Ego 8 would cost me about 800.
Should i get the Etek2 with the upgrades or should I spend the extra cash and get the Ego8.
OR you could recommend other guns with high air efficiency (by "high" i mean higher that the Ion)
I already have the 360 QEV and even if i did get a lighter bolt (like the l7) i still wouldn't get anywhere near the amount of air efficiency that the Planet Eclipse guns have
I have 2 68/45 tanks. the reason i need a more efficient gun is that i often play in my backyard. So i usually get about 1900ish shot out of BOTH tanks. IMO thats pretty conservative for a day of play.
i would get the Ego08. you could also take a look at the Bob Long Vice. its around the same price as the Etek2. and is just as good if not better than the Ego08. the Vice has the best Efficiency you can shoot a full case of paint easy with this marker.
