What kind of knife to get.. help?
Okay so I'm getting my boyfriend a knife and need to know what's good quality and what isn't. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that's not worth it. Also, he'll be using it on mainly just deer.
I was thinking about getting this one:
Buck Knives® Alpha Hunter® Steel Blade Knife with Gut Hook and it has a 420HC Steel Blade... Is this a good knife?
Tell me reasons also. I've read some good reviews but they didn't say much so let me know please!
Buck Knives are a good quality knife manufacture but they do have a low end as well as a high end. This knife should be excellent for deer hunting with the gut hook. The 420 HC steel blade is of good quality steel also so it will hold a sharp edge for a while.
