Leapers Golden Image 4x32 Mini Mil-Dot Scope adjustments.?
I recently bought an airsoft sniper rifle and also got the Leapers Golden Image 4x32 Mini Mil-Dot Scope to mount on it. For the first little while I didn't make any adjustments to it because it was just aiming above the pellet a little bit. My brother in law decided to make it "more accurate" and started messing with it and made it way worse.
I figure that to make it like it was I should find the middle of the adjustment knobs and put it there. I also remember them being perfectly level with the top of the threaded portion of the cover around it. Is this true??? I really don't want to have to go out and experiment because that would take a long time, but if I have to I will.
setting sights is a trial and error thing hooch each "click"on the windage "left/right"and elevation"up/down" is about 1/4inch at 100yds these are the settings for a real gun airsoft weapons only have a 30meter range best thing to do is make yourself a target get some a4 paper draw a circle in the middle tape it to a box put it about 10yds away .get in a prone position rest your rifle on something stable to get the most accurate shot you can then fire off a couple of shots at the target then go see where they hit if for example the are grouped high and to the left try a couple of clicks right and a couple of clicks down .go fire two more shots you will find the grouping has moved slightly down and more to the right keep this up till you are hitting CENTRE then move the target out to 20yds and adjust elevation to hit higher hope this helps
