What do you think about this workout plan?
So I've been going to the gym for a few weeks now and have been following this workout plan i got from a magazine.. It goes
Mon- Chest, triceps
Tues- Back, Biceps
Wed- Shoulders, Traps
Thurs- Legs
Fri- biceps triceps forearms
It was to double up on your arm exercises to get bigger faster.
Then i was thinking and was wondering if this would be a good workout plan.
Mon- Chest, triceps, shoulders
Tues- Back, Biceps, traps
Wed- Legs
Thurs- Chest, triceps, shoulders
Fri- Back, Biceps, traps
I thought of it because you can double up on your muscles but a kind of weary because of muscle recovery. Let me know what you think.

If you are going to do arms 2x a week you might as well do other parts 2x a week too.
I would suggest something like this for a beginner [and few weeks is a beginner since you do not know how your body works yet]
Day 1: Chest, triceps
Day 2: Back, Biceps
Day 3: off
Day 4: Shoulders, abs
Day 5: Legs
Day 6: off
Day 7: cardio and abs
Stick to compound lifts, with little to no isolation
Remember the big 4 of bodybuilding/weight lifting: Barbell Bench Press, Deadlifts, Squat, Barbell military press
make sure you have them in your workout plan.
Watch your diet, do not eat junk food, fast food, stay away from sodas, and a sodium
Eat a lot of meats, take protein shakes, increase your calorie count to at least 3000 calories per day
And you should be set
