can you use modeling clay to make a mold for lead pouring?
i love fishing (saltwater) but lure are in the expensive side so im thinking of making my owne
Modeling clay can't take the heat, it will smoke and stink and won't hold an accurate shape. The heat causes it to partially liquefy. A sand mold would be best. If you don't know how to make a sand mold use plaster of paris. A lead lure? Or do you mean sinkers? If you are making sinkers just use an old spoon and drill a hole in it.
