Canon T2i/550D Lens compatibility question?
Hey guys!
Quick question, is the EF 50mm f/1.2L compatible with the T2i/550D body? I know the 550D is compatible with all EF-S and EF lenses, but is it compatible with the "L" series lens? I'm planning on purchasing the 5D Mark III/6D once it's released ALONG with the EF 50mm f / 1.2L, but if this lens works with the current 550D, then there's no point in waiting till the 5DIII is released.

Yes, the 550D can use all lenses in the EF and EF-S range including the L lens.
The L lens are the premier lens in the EF range.
If you are going to get the full-frame body later, avoid the EF-S lenses unless you intend to sell them off.
