Remington 700 SPS tactical magazine conversion?
I have a Remington 700 SPS tactical with an internal 4 round magazine. I am attempting to build the gun as closely to the military M24 as possible. The mil-spec version has a 5 round detachable mag (possibly 4+1).
I was looking for any information or help on how I would go about converting the magazine/rifle to take a detachable mag, and please don't say it can't be done I know it can. Thanks!
The M24 uses the Badger M5 trigger guard conversion, you can buy one for ~$300. They use AI .223 magazines, both 5 and 10 round capacity.
The stock will require some inletting, you can either do it yourself or have a gunsmith do it for you.
