I have scoured the internet to look for SKS pouches that hold up to a 30 round magazine and only found old ww2 or chinese pouches. I am looking for a Molle Triple Mag Pouch that holds 9 SKS magazinesi found this for the AK 47 but not the SKS. Does anyone know of any place that would make custom made SKS pouches? or have molle pouches for sale? And i dont want the Chi com rig or anything chinese im looking for more modern times
their are molle pouches for ak mags which have the same curve and are the same size as the sks mags. firstly finding something for sks mags is gonna be impossible since sks's that were issued as military rifles never came with detachable magazines, the chinese made the sks model d and m which both took ak mags, but that was long after sks had been replaced, secondly the sks was not a front line issued weapon for very long, it was quickly phased out for the ak47, and for something modern, the sks isnt a modern weapon its design is 65 years old, minus the lkp 66 produced in serbia with a flush 7 round nondeattachable magazine the sks hasnt been produced in 20 years. the body od the sks mag and the ak mag is the same with the exception that the sks mag is about an inch taller and has a "Duckbill" on the front, so the ak molle gear will work for the sks mags good enough.
