I've purchased a projector recently but I'm having a little trouble hooking everything up. My PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii all use component cables. The problem is my projector only has one component connection. What can I do or what can I buy to allow me to hook up all my component devices? I've seen component switchers, but they are a little more than I want to spend. If that's my only option then I'll do it, but I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do to hook up my component devices.
you essentially have 3 options.
1.) keep changing your connections by hand depending on what device you want to use.
2.) buy a component switch that you have to flip between inputs.
3.) buy either a surround sound system, or if you already have the speakers, a high end a/v receiver that is able to input and output component video. then all you have to do is use the remote to flip between the inputs. this is my recommendation. make sure it has the hd video hookups though.
