Hunting Camo Pattern for me?
I'm basically between the new Mossy Oak Infinity or Realtree AP for deer hunting in northern (and I mean northern) California. It ranges from dark deep woods to open light hillsides. I'd like a mossy oak pattern or Realtree, but I can work with a different one. No offbrand things like Mothwing please. Thanks
I hunt with my dad and he got treestand already so that's out of the question. Its a great pattern though. When I say northern I mean its almost Oregon.
This is tough, the new infinity is still very dark. If you are spending most of your time in scrub oak stalking or from a blind I would go with Infinity. If you are going to have the use of a treestand or have no thick scrub oak I would go for AP. Personally I like treestand but I hunt further north of you, no ground cover and treestand is the only way to go.
