Paintball Gun?
How good are pistols in paintball? My friends and I are just playing pistol matches and I need to know if the pistols are worth it. The pistol I had in mind was a beretta. Any facts would be appreciated, range, fps, and clip size. The pistols are like 10$ for 4, it seemed too good to be true.
I wouldn't buy any paintball gun that is 4 for $10. They are usually the .50 caliber and break easy. You will not be able to get parts for them. These are very inaccurate and the paintballs break very easily in them making it a pain in the but to clean.
Pistols can be fun, they by nature, will not shoot very far with accuracy because they have a short barrel.
Tiberius arms makes a popular pistol, you can find them at http://www.specopspaintball.com. Expect to pay around $200 plus.
They do make a cheaper one by 32 degrees called a 68 delta, they are around $100.
It sounds like you are just looking for something to play with in the back yard, the cheaper .50 caliber paintball guns shoot around 180 feet per second. That is fast enough to put your eye out. PLEASE remember to wear your safety gear including eye protection.
