Ok "brothers in arms" I have a question for you. I posses a "Concealed Carry" lincense and have for the past 5 years. My favorite carry weapon is a Glock model 36. I like the .45 acp round for it's energy and 1 shot stop effectiveness. Yet it is difficult to carry comfortably. I reside in Oklahoma and the weather is generally mild, so a jacket or coat only help in the late winter months. I've carried it "mexican waistband" (I know you're not suppose to carry a Glock this way) and I have a paddle holster. Yet every method leaves me constantly aware of the weapon and always concerned with it's exposure. Do any of you have a suggestion for a good holster or carry system that is comfortable and concealable? I've had to opt for a S&W 442 "Airweight" in 38+p to find a weapon system comfortable and concealable. (And yes to you "Antis" out there) I carry a gun daily, If I'm wearing pants I'm carrying a weapon!

DeSantis makes an IWB small paddle holster that I carry my Kimber.45 in. I really like it cuz nothing shows below the 2 snaps on my belt. The magazine pouch (2 mags) on the other side appears to be a cell phone holder or knife pouch. Both can be easily concealed by a T-shirt or shirt not tucked it
and with a quick snap can be removed without any hassles.
I also carry in an outside waist band Biachi during the winter due to always having a coat on (Alaska) that has 4 different slots for the belt so the most comfortable angle can be selected. I find that te Biachi is the most comfortable, but the Desantis hides better and have gotten used to it. I have a box full of holsters cuz I tried many until I found the one that works best for me. The whole point is to find what works smoothest and that you will use consistently. Both holsters above have a very stiff opening so weapon can be reholstered with one hand but the DeSantis has a release tension adjustment that the Biachi does not. Like you, I feel naked without a weapon, and I have found that being armed makes me a much more patient person and more tolerant of stupid stuff due to the potential violence at my disposal.
