Hi i was looking for my first airsoft gun around in websites. i decided to not buy them online because i don't trust them with my credit card. I went to sports authority and found a lot of nice looking gun. I saw this package deal which included an AEG (Panther M4 Carbine) with 310 fps and a spring pistol. also included red dot and grip for m4 and laser for pistol. Also they put in 500 bbs in it too. it costs $140. I was wondering if this was a good gun for me, but one of my friends who is a veteran with airsoft guns said airsoft guns in stores usually have bad quality. he told me to order online at shortyusa.com but remember i dont wanna buy online.
Also there was this baby desert eagle co2 gas gun semi automatic and was at 420 fps.
He's right. Most if not all guns found in sporting goods stores are crap. You should buy from an airsoft specific retailer. Pistols are more or less useless unless they are gas. And the BB's would be cheap. My suggestion is to buy a JG/Echo 1 AEG, you'll be much happier.
