why is GSD considered the classic dog breed?
Police, Military, Airports, Emergency rescue teams, etc etc all use GSD. They also have a very favorable opinion from most people. Everyone considers GSD to be a very special dog. Why
Other breeds are also used by those services, not just GSD's.
Not everyone considers GSD's to be the 'classic dog breed'?
Belgian Shepherds and Rottweilers are used by the services and Beagles and Labradors are used by customs at airports and in prisons.
I used to have GSD's but since breeders started breeding their show lines with over exaggerated sloping backs I now like only the working line GSD's.
I changed my breed years ago and now own and love Rottweilers.
