Why don't we still do this??? Overloaded enemy ammo.?
I just read an article about a TOP SECRET mission that occured during the war in Vietnam. It involved the capture of enemy ordinance and the subsequent sabotage various rounds of AK-47 ammo and mortar shells. They removed the powder ( which produced 45,000psi ) and replaced it with a high explosive power ( which produced 250,000psi ). This caused the gun to blow up sending the bolt back through the head of the person firing it. The mortar rounds also blew up in the tube when dropped in. This would be a major deterrent to our enemy in wanting to load their guns and go kill Americans.
It was called ' Operation Eldest Son '.
Maybe someone in our military ranks is reading this and send it on up the Chain of Command....so why don't we still do this???
And whaty makes you think we don't? If we did, why would we tell everyone?
