If the Metropolitan Police "endangered the public" they are meant to protect.....?
Why is shooting Mr Menezes okay? Don't they have a duty of care to suspects anymore? Call me old fashioned, but I thought suspects were meant to be arrested alive, and taken to court if there is enough evidence, rather than being summarily executed and publicly smeared.
According to the Home Office, Mr Menezes was in the country perfectly legally. And even if he wasn't, how can anyone reasonably argue this is grounds to kill him?

nowadays it's a case of shoot first ask questions later and cover up the truth, the police in this country haven't a clue how to handle these situations this incident was a major balls up from word go, the police officers involved should be charged with murder, and not use what "might have happened" if he was a real terrorist as a excuse that does not come into it.
