Hi can you help explain what i have to do to hunt a ram? I have no experience at all in the hunting field. I just want to go and hunt a ram to put on my wall because i am interested in the sport. Can you explain everything that i have to do to be able to do it? Thank You very much. Also do you know of any websites that have a lot of info on that and whats the difference between rams and big horn sheep? Thanks
Big horn isnt a good first hunt. Niether is any type of mountain goat, sheep etc. The tags are hard to get drawn for, you need a good rifle and good scope as the range is usually pretty far away. 500 yard shots arent uncommon. compare that to most deer hunting, which happens at around 100 to 300 yards at the maximum. So, you also need to be a very good shot, something that takes years of experiance.
How about you go take a hunters safety course and get a hunting license first, then you might get a better grip on reality. Also, just for your info, many people (including most hunters) frown on 'just wanna head on the wall' mentality.
